An update and news from the GHA Group with thanks as usual to our friend Charlie. Apologies if anything has been reported previously.


Bryn Melyn .

The Scania OmniCity YN56NNA has not been purchased and has been returned to Stafford Bus Centre

The latest arrival to the Bryn Melyn fleet is R455KWT which will be given white Bryn Melyn livery and prepared for service.

It was the first day of service today for Solo YN03NDF but unfortunately it had to be taken off the 5 Llangollen – Wrexham route after a couple of hours – however it is likely to be back at work later in the week.

The 502 Wrexham – Ellesmere service will cease in December


Vale

Latest arrival - Solo - YJ60KBN has now a white base and is shortly to have Vale vinyls applied. It is likely to work the Macclesfield based Wilmslow to Manchester Airport - 200 service.


GHA Coaches

Out are:- UBZ3362 Volvo B10M-61 / Plaxton Paramount 32 has gone for scrap after the project to reinstate was abandoned.
N725KGF (SB37) Dennis Dart 9.8SDL / Plaxton Pointer has also gone for scrap.

Paying a short visit to donate spares before going for scrap is R69GNW - DAF SB220 / Ikarus Citibus 480 formerly Arriva Yorkshire West (13).

Unfortunately Solo W677DDN has been involved in a collision with a HGV. Fortunately no serious injuries to the drivers and no passengers were being carried. However there is considerable damage and its future is uncertain.

Volvo B7R / Plaxton Profile (CA24) has been re-registered from HM03GSM to 708WPG

The Sunday operations of the SP2 Mold to Ellesmere Port (Cheshire Oakes) service will cease after Christmas
