Apparently I've heard a rumour that due to 3047 being involved in an RTA in which a pedestrian sadly lost their life, it will be transferred somewhere else (presumably to Merseyside or another Arriva division) Is it some sort of company policy that when a vehicle is involved in a fatal accident that it is transferred elsewhere?

The only vehicle I can think of that actually was transferred (to Merseyside) was 3180 which came from the Midlands after I believe it was involved in an fatal collision (and was swapped with 2609)

I remember a few years ago reading an ECHO article about a bus (I believe it was a St. Helens vehicle) slammed on to avoid a collision, but in the process an elderly passenger on the bus was fatally injured, I don't remember what vehicle was involved but I don't ever recall it being transferred elsewhere afterwards...
