April's changes: Lancaster services Service 582 High Bentham – Low Bentham – Wennington – Melling – Hornby From 8 April 2024, North Yorkshire Council will introduce a new Wednesday return only journey between High Bentham and Hornby to connect with through Service 82 for journeys to Lancaster. The Wednesday only journey will depart at 0914 from High Bentham, arriving at Hornby at 0938 to connect with the 0948 Service 82 departure to Lancaster. The return journey will depart from Hornby at 1415 and through passengers will need to travel on the 1335 Service 82 departure from Lancaster to connect at Hornby. Kirkby Lonsdale Coach Hire will operate this service on behalf of North Yorkshire Council. Ribble Valley services Service 11 Clitheroe – Dunsop Bridge – Slaidburn – Settle – Horton LCC Leaflet 22 From 8 April 2024 North Yorkshire Council, in partnership with Lancashire County Council, will enhance their Horton-Settle-Tosside Service 11, extending the service through the Hodder Valley to Clitheroe. New Service 11 will operate between Clitheroe and Settle and onto to Horton-in-Ribblesdale via Bashall Eaves, Whitewell, Dunsop Bridge, Newton, Slaidburn and Tosside. The service will operate generally every two hours during Monday to Saturday daytime, with a school day journey extension through to Bowland Academy. 21 Transport Ltd will operate this service on behalf of North Yorkshire Council and Lancashire County Council. Blackpool services Service 3 Cleveleys – Blackpool - Mereside From 14 April 2024 Blackpool Transport will revise the timetable, introducing a couple of later evening journeys, extending the period of operation through to 2030 from Mereside and 2040 from Cleveleys. Chorley services Service 632 Chorley – Coppull – Standish – Wigan From 8 April 2024, Go North West will amend the route service number from 362 to 632. There are no changes to the route or timetable. |
