For some months now Macclesfield bus station has been 'boarding only' on the stands. Buses drop off passengers at the stop just outside the bus station then run onto the stand empty. It's so intending passengers don't meet exiting passengers. Although many restrictions are now eased we are still dropping off outside the bus station.
