If someone had a flat fare though on services I think it would be the exact same as Oyster, no tapping out since irrespective of tapping out, the same fare would be charged.

Can you imagine the havoc and slow entry and exit if you had to tap off a bus , easier on the tube because you have all the time in the world , the bus companies or soon to be the case of TfGM and Merseytravel would soon see it as detrimental to a service running on time without some extra running time .
