I'm pretty sure another hybrid had an RTC (can't remember which) whilst 4526 was long term off the road waiting for a replacement engine. As a result 4526 donated front end parts to the damaged one to avoid waiting for parts to arrive.

So yes it did get a new front end, with black stock coloured light surrounds but only because its own front end is running around on another hybrid !
