RE: Greater Manchester Service Changes
Hulleys making some changes to the X56/X57 services over the next couple of months, as lockdown/restrictions starts to ease and passengers hopefully start using the service. Sadly, the X56, which is currently suspended, will not return and is effectively withdrawn.

From 18 April, the Sunday service X57 will be re-instated with some re-timing to early morning and late afternoon journeys, while from 17 May, the service will be extended to Manchester Airport (perhaps taking advantage of the possible lost direct train link between Sheffield and Manchester Airport), while the late Friday and Saturday evening journeys between Manchester and Sheffield return.
