RE: Greater Manchester service changes
The 130 extension to Wythenshawe will be short-lived. TfGM, D&G Bus & Cheshire East Council stating that the service will be curtailed to run between Handforth and Macclesfield only from next Monday (5 October). Service will now be funded by Cheshire East Council with a Saturday service re-introduced.

Quote:From 5th October service 130 will be operated by D&G Bus under contract to Cheshire East Council, who have chosen to make some changes to the route and timetable.

Bus times will be changed and there will be a more frequent service between Macclesfield and Handforth with buses at busy times operating via Alderley Park.

Buses will also be reintroduced on Saturdays, running every two hours. This will provide an hourly frequency between Macclesfield, Broken Cross, Henbury and Monks Heath with service 88.

We regret that the new service will not serve Wythenshawe. Buses will terminate in Handforth at the junction of Wilmslow Road and Spath Lane.
