Anybody else getting a sinking feeling regards arriva macc?????

Saw on another thread that D&G are taking over the 109 leek - macc service from september. With them having competitive fares similar to arriva's people are more tempted to use them more now. Makes me wonder if they'll consider taking on macc fully? Suspect that might happen with the way things are going.

Plus with a load of drivers having walked out on arriva & gone to work for D&G or stagecoach. Pay & better conditions I've had quoted from a couple of drivers I know as reasons why they've walked.

Noticed t'other day when I walked my dog past that macc depot at gaw end lane is still shut. Plus emergency timetables are still in place on all the macc local routes. This is really starting to annoy passengers now as it can be an hour wait for a bus.
