The initial routes by MTL Manchester were circular services 18M/19M, which started the initial operations off before they moved on to adding direct competing routes with GM Buses North and GMS Buses.

The above two routes being withdrawn but other competing routes were then added as follows, unsure of precise dates as they were introduced in batches as vehicles became available.

The routes here were due to have commenced by 7th February 1994.
14 Stockport - Offerton Circular (Every 10 mins).
42X Manchester - East Didsbury (Every 10 mins).
43 Manchester - Wythenshawe (Every 20 mins).
43X Manchester - West Didsbury (Every 20 mins).
58 Oldham - Rochdale (Every 30 mins).
76 Manchester - Oldham (Every 30 mins).
82 Manchester - Waterhead (Every 10 mins).
105 Manchester - Wythenshawe (Every 30 mins).
106 Manchester - Wythenshawe (Every 30 mins).
203 Manchester - Stockport (Every 20 mins).

Of the services above services 43/43X combined to provide a 10 minute frequency between Manchester and West Didsbury at this time, and services 105/106 combined to operate every 15 minutes along Princess Road.

Due to commence on 28th February 1994.
204 Manchester - Haughton Green (Every 20 mins).
255 Manchester - Partington (Every 30 mins).
263 Manchester - Altrincham (Every 30 mins).

Other routes which probably started at a later date for which I am not sure are as follows:-

14X Manchester - Stretford (Every 30 mins).
50 Manchester - East Didsbury (Every 10 mins).
52 Old Trafford - Failsworth (Every 30 mins).
86 Manchester - Chorlton, Arrowfield Road (Every 10 mins).
135 Manchester - Bury.
136 Manchester - Whitefield.
245 Altrincham - Stretford/Flixton. (Every 30 mins).

Service 245 operated short journeys as well between Altrincham and Stretford also every 30 minutes, combining to operate on an odd frequency with buses at alternating 10/20 min gaps over the combined section of route.
