Liverpool City Centre bus re-routing proposals

Apparently spending millions on and running with a stupid idea that will only make things worse for most people isn't just the prerogative of national politicians who, like the individual who thought this up, walks away and leaves it to others to try to fix.

Yesterday afternoon, I stood in James Street for three minutes and observed three routes loading (14, 20 and 21). All three of them were half full by the time they left the stop. Should these proposals be implemented, all of these passengers would be expected to walk to an already congested Queen Square and board there. Madness.

Coupled with the idea of only one bus route supposedly every 6 minutes linking Queen Square with the rest of the City centre, & that route being 10A, a route i regully see buses going in 2s, 3s & sometimes 4s, politicians live on a different planet to the rest of us.Hammer
