Are you sure it lacks a display? The top 30% or so of the windscreen is obscured by something that looks more substantial than merely a sun visor.

Comparing with this Mercedes 'van': https://www.flickr.com/photos/nicksbusco...772509669/ (which I accept is a different model) I think the fitting for a traditional blind is there but whatever blind was in it has been removed (or perhaps one was never installed) and underneath there's a bit of a sun visor.
