I can think of loads of changes, that were straight away. That was at d-reg itself, the next raft of changes after that could only take place from the end of January 87 onwards. Been looking at this https://www.flickr.com/photos/dmc1947/84...6/sizes/k/ what strikes me is the Kirkby area number scheme introduced in either 1979 or 80 most of the regular all day routes in the Kirkby area got renumbered 150 to 159 series 150/152 Kirkby Civic Centre-Westvale-Northwood Circular 151 Kirkby Admin-Tower Hill 153 Kirkby Admin-Kirkby Station 154 Central Bus Station-Gilmoss/Northwood 155 Tower Hill-Pier Head 156 Tower Hill-Walton 157 Northwood-Pier Head 158 Southdene-Walton 159 Tower Hill-Broad Lane Some buses were built with 4 track number blinds incase the PTE added letters to the numbers, preserved Atlantean 1836 is one such bus, the number scheme was withdrawn at d-reg.
