Thanks for the update. It always surprises me as to how little capacity Arriva has for such work these days. The fleet is only slightly smaller than the MPTE fleet of pre-deregulation days but PSRC does about a tenth of the work that Edge Lane Works did in the past. Are modern buses more robust and reliable than those of the past, are maintenance standards less or is a lot of work contracted out?
