Looks like we are witnessing the beginning of the end for this service. Usual Arriva tactic, make the service not very user friendly or curtail it so it doesn't go anywhere useful, then withdraw through surprise surprise, lack of passengers. You only have to look recently at the situation with the 21 in Runcorn.
