I finally made it to Southport on Saturday January 28th, having considered going there early last year! All my buses were Arriva unless otherwise stated. Apart from inevitable Stagecoach Enviro 400Hs to/from Manchester Piccadilly and Northern trains (class 142 to Southport and 150/1 back to Piccadilly) my local itin was as follows:-

My previous visits to Southport in 1991, 1996, 2002 & 2006 had been on interurban trips. It therefore made a change to do a town trip there.
