I did see a complaint on Arriva Buses Wales Facebook the other day about Single Deckers being on the 12 and the Service being unreliable, Arriva replied saying that a few of the Buses had broken down on there Service... Well I suppose that the 12 is no different to the 79/82/86 at Speke which although double deck routes see a fair amount single deckers. The difference is that Speke has Commanders as back ups and Rhyl don't. From what I saw on Tuesday the frequency of the 12 is such that a single decker can cope with the passengers especially as the caravan parks are at the end or their season. All time rail mileage travelled 327264 miles |

The difference is that the 12 is marketed as being double deck and really in an ideal world this should be stuck to, the whole point in having two spare sapphire vehicles is so this doesn't happen, there again I'm not complaining! If deckers are needed on the 51 or elsewhere then really they should be the coastliners off the 11, however I appreciate this is the case anyway more often than not. |

If deckers are required for the 51 then AW management should have made a case for them instead of converting the route to Sapphire with Pulsars that are now over nine years old. All time rail mileage travelled 327264 miles |

RE: Arriva Buses Wales - Rhyl Depot
918 was noted back in Wrexham on Sunday 23rd Oct, seem laying over in the Bus Station at 12:00, reason unknown. I noted it as heading out of a 5 at the time. It was gone by 13:00 when I returned and a sighting from a friend in Rhyl said it was noted back in Rhyl 15:30. Any ideas what it was doing? |
