Nice to see a new Enviro400 MMC decker in Arriva livery rather than the usual Stagecoach 'swoops' paint job.
Gives a good impression of the look for future Arriva Merseyside buses.

Yes I have to agree, I've yet to get into Leicester to try them out but this will happen next week.

Can't wait for the Thurmaston batch to be delivered as they are due for my local route 5/5A, Leicester-Melton Mowbray. Will be a nice change from what we currently have, often S,T & W reg ex London stock!!!!

New MMCs noted in service today are 4501,2,3,4,5,8,9,10,11,14,15,17.

4501,2,3,4,5 are branded for routes 50/52.

For anyone planning to visit Leicester the best place to view the majority of the new vehicles (including First) is just outside the new Haymarket bus station at the jct of Charles St & Belgrave Gate

Is Haymarket Bus Station, anywhere the St.Margaret Bus Station?

Yes, about 3-4 mins walk along Abbey Street which also forms part of the jct with Charles St & Belgrave Gate.
