As for the X34, unless there's been more vehicle swapping going on, it would seem that Queens Road depot are running the xx42 journeys. Saw 66191 earlier and 37281 with the 17/18 Look ads on the 3.42 departure from Manchester.

37415 still had it's 36 branding on late last week so presuming it's been taken off now. Be interesting to know why the swaps/loans have taken place.

Read that Om have sent some B9s to London for Olympic cover so the BN B9s are on loan until they return, the B7s from OM to BN are to cover the loans.

Wouldn't it have been easier to send BN B9s to London seeing as they have 20+ in the new livery minus any branding????

Picking up on a previous post where someone said that 40359 was a shed, saw it yesterday and it's had a rear end repaint. Still a shed though.....

Some step allocations today included:

30586 - 658.
31903 - 600.
31918 - 571/2.
31919 - 519.
31920 - 571/2.
31921 - 561/2.
31922 - something in Bolton.
31923 - 540.
31926 - 658.
31932 - 540.
31941 - 631/2.
34262 - 610.

I had the joys of 31903, 31918, 31919, 31920, 31932 and 31941...31919 still has some serious slowness issues, it can't even go along flat road without struggling! :P

RE: First Manchester
Not sure if the summer timetables are working yet as three 36s were all behind each other in Bolton earlier, 37419 still in old 36 branded livery followed by OM loan 66848 then freshly repainted 37428!

Both 40343 (AN) and 40350 were in both in the BN workshop having work done on them and their rear end paintwork had been rubbed down, maybe getting a back repaint like 40359.

40343 is withdrawn but me thinks it could be reinstated to replace 40381

RE: First Manchester
Noticed on First Manchester's website that they've launched a ticket offer similar to the 17/18 on the 135.

From now until 23 October, passengers travelling on the 135 route between Heaton Park and Manchester can buy a FirstDay ticket for £2.80 and FirstWeek ticket for £12 (children half price). The offers are also valid on services 59 and 88/89 between Bowker Vale, Cheetham Hill and Manchester.

http://www.firstgroup.com/ukbus/greater_...ervice135/

The main question is why have First done this? Are they trying to get some of the Metrolink customers to switch to the bus to travel into Manchester from stops such as Heaton Park, Bowker Vale, Crumpsall and Abraham Moss, which is served by at least one of those services?

Love that bus

Does anyone have any up to date information, on the remaining Bolton Darts

31920 has a tax disc expiring at the end of the month, so I am wondering if thats it for the arrows then.

Taking into consideration Bolton Depot's new stock arriving
