Until Sunday i thought Ellenbrook had gone along with JPT however i found out they are still trading as i managed to get N582 CKA on Rail Reps, Its led to a couple of questions and i was wondering if anyone could help me out

1. Has Ellenbrook Travel been trading since the day of the JPT sale? if not when was it restarted?
2. What else do Ellenbrook have in their Fleet?
3. What work do they currently have?

1> I think its only recently restarted and I think its Mark Walsh running it maybe with help from his dad

2> As far as I know until I pop upto to the yard they've got the silver ex Arriva B10B and I believe they've got a coach as well

3> At least one School Service and the rest of the work is weekend Rail Replacements which seem to be neverending again in the Greater Manchester area at the moment

I hope this helps you Tez

What's the school service?

Carnt imagine stagecoach are too happy about him simply starting up again after they bailed him out.

Still good news for the company's that manufacture and sell gaffer tape - it was always his favourite way of repairing a bus

School Service I'm led to believe is supposedly Cardinal Langley-Alkrington though not to sure on this one

Did some digging and only Mark Walsh is registered on the License and it appears the company restarted on 24th Feb 2015 as they changed their operating Depot address on that date

Is the school service done through TFGM or is it direct with school.
I find it very hard to believe TFGM would give him any work considering the chaos that was caused last time.

Apparently Ellenbrook Travel's new yard is not to far away from where Stagecoach's old Chadderton Depot used to be and is I think is virtually across the road from it or not to far away

RE: Ellenbrook Travel
Its also worth noting that the Eurobus Licence is also based at this new Address

Isn't Eurobus on the same licence as Ellenbrook??

I seem to remember he applied to increase the VA on the JPT licence but was turned down, then tried to apply for a new licence in the form of 'Eurobus' but again was refused so in the end 'acquired' the Ellenbrook licence - I think the coach firm was originally based in Worsley?

If his current licence has a VA of 3 he's not going to be able to do much with that. I carnt see First being worried of an attack on the 17s any time soon lol

I think Eurobus is a different license as am sure he was using that before he bought Ellenbrook, But yes Ellenbrook was once based in Worsley
