Merseytravel Timetable Changes
RE: Merseytravel Timetable Changes
Stagecoach service is a contract, destinations are set correctly to mark this too.

What surprised me looking at it properly (well a few weeks ago when learning routes) is that on Saturday the first and last few 217/227 are Merseytravel contracts too and so go to Kirkby Station like the 192 does.

True, you get a few idiots on Victoria Street, but the Police are often in attendance with their big yellow Sprinter vans.
I'd say the black hackney cabs that block-up North John Street are more of a concern. Either way, the bus still ran on time, riff-raff or no riff-raff.

No, what bothers me aren't the idiots, it's the fact that James Street Station is being taken out of the equation.
If I'm drinking with friends over the water and I'm heading back to Kirkdale, the logical solution is train to James Street then bus from James Street Stop JC right outside the Station.
How the hell am I supposed to do that from Sunday?

Merseytravel like to brag that they can connect trains to buses (insisting that some Stations are now 'Interchanges'), but they've made a big mistake with this one, breaking the link between bus-train connections for the sake of a few street drunks.

Integrated Transport Authority?
Pah! Don't make me laughSad

I agree fully with the Taxi Point, i have lost count how many times they que beyond the Taxi Rank and into the middle of that Junction with Victoria Street, Sadly nothing ever seems to get done about it...

I completely agree with it as well. I've lost count of how many times I've seen hackney cabs blocking bus stops, junctions and stopping in stupid places to drop off or pick up fares. It's extremely inconsiderate to all other road users and it's beyond poor that nothing is ever done about it

RE: Merseytravel Timetable Changes
One timetable that we missed a few weeks ago

166/188/266/288 (Belle Vale - Halewood/Halewood - Belle Vale/Garston Circulars)

http://www.merseytravel.gov.uk/travellin...02015).pdf

HTL Buses Monday to Friday daytime services:
Route 266: Buses from Belle Vale now finish at 1708 in Halewood.
Route 288: Buses from Halewood now finish at 1746 in Belle Vale.
(Buses run for Merseytravel during the evenings and weekends are unchanged.

The bus from route 288 now works onto one of the route 135 duties (instead of the 192) which may have been the reason behind this change.

Page has been even further updated:

Interestingly there will be an additional Arriva 10A from 24th January 2016 starting at 0501 from Runcorn - this must be a typo unless it's a one journey extension.

I think it's rushed and made mistakes unless these changes are happening both them and Wirral ones listed above sound strange moves

RE: Merseytravel Timetable Changes
The 410 one looks to be like a carbon copy of the route change from the previous service noted which was the 409.

RE: Merseytravel Timetable Changes
The 423 might be right has Merseytravel and council and various passenger groups have been looking for some time now at how to serve Wirral Waters and the 12 Quays terminal as there is currently no E/Su service linking them.
