RE: Stagecoach Manchester
i think theres a much an issue of threadbare seats as these horrible eleather seats on buses these days there horrible to sit on during the day and i was so relieved when the Geminis left Stagecoach Wigan depot as they where Horrible to sit on in warm weather i had the same issue with 4618 of Arriva Sh on Friday on the 352 i got off a few stops early as i couldn't stand the seats i would much rather have thick seated bench seating on a bus or a coach seat
Bring Back Arriva Skelmersdale

The thing I notice about them is the bouncy suspension, the whole bus seems to wobble when someone gets on, even with the lightest of passengers. They are like Pacers of the road!
49891 does indeed have a different interior to the rest of them.

I actually think that leather seats are a lot better than fabric seats because the leather always looks pretty decent where as fabric can look a bit worn out after a while

I prefer fabric. If the sun shines directly on leather seats like on 695XX on 582, they become too hot to touch sometimes. Just imagine how it would feel wearing shorts!

Either Stagecoach were quick to scrap it or I am slow at typing up my notes, I have a page yet to be done that states "13996 - 142"

Back in 1950's & 60's, most bus seats were genuine leather, with a good 2" (5cm) of padding. Nowadays, with this E-leather sh*te, you are lucky, if you get 1cm of padding.

Do you know if 17271, 17273 and 17331 have reverted back to their original registrations?

17271 and 17273 still carry their personal regs as well as one other in the paint shop these tridents are getting the new style magic livery rather than the standard magic livery applied to the remaining tridents also 18290/1 as well as 17698/9 are going to be placed on 168/9 routes when all plans and vehicles are in place
