As I am planning my next visit to Merseyside for a Bank Holiday - so that I can ride some independents on routes that are Arriva or Stagecoach on Mon-Sat - I wonder whether how many such routes are run by Avon on Sundays & Bank Holidays? |

If you want to ride n Avon come on a regular day they have a lot more buses out monday to saturday |

I rode some Avon buses in 2009. The last time I checked, Avon ran at least 1 Arriva route on Sundays, maybe route 403. I enjoy the novelty of different bus operations on Sundays & Bank Holidays! |

Avon are to start running the 22 service again from the beginning of Sept, running trough to West Kirby |

It looks alongside the changes to the 22 , that they are having a fidget to some of there services in September. Service 77/77A will no longer operate to Woodside or via Lower Village (Heswall). |
