RE: Huyton/Roby Platform 4
If I remember correctly, I think December 2017 was given as the date when the 4th track would be up and running. |

RE: Huyton/Roby Platform 4
The initial delay has been due to the fact that there was some kind of objection to building on the land but I wouldn't be surprised if the date changes. Initially I was thinking it may be moved forward (possibly being included in works currently being carried out in the area) although given the delays to the current phase of electrification, I wouldn't be surprised if it gets moved back. |

RE: Huyton/Roby Platform 4
The extra bit of land needed is between Huyton Station and Huyton Junction. It was sold off when the railway was reduced to two tracks. Couple of bits here: http://moderngov.merseytravel.uk.net/doc...c.%201.pdf Here too: http://moderngov.merseytravel.uk.net/doc...ansion.pdf SD. |

Those diagrams do make it a lot easier to understand what is going on at Huyton , Huyton once finished will look a lot busier than it presently is and will give some more flexibility in the timetable to add more trains without having axe any existing services . |
