YN06NYM has already gone into 'dealer' white and is at Carvers - the 2nd to be given the white livery is Carver's YN06NZA (which is probably the one you have seen). It is possible that all of these 4 may be sold and not retained. DLG817

It is important that we get things right. It was my understanding that whilst the vehicle was originally B20D that it was subject to a refit of its luggage racks in Sept 2009 whilst with Dawsonrentals when undertaking a contract loan to Airlinks Airport Services and as a result became B17D. I was also in the belief that whilst Transbus International PLC took over the individual companies of Dennis, Plaxton and others in 2001 it took time before vehicles built were rebranded to the new name Transbus. One of my sources of data is 'Bus Lists on the Web' and this indicated that KU02YTW was listed with them as a 'Dennis' with 'Plaxton' body. I have subsequently checked on the DVLA vehicle enquiry website and the vehicle is registered as a 'Dennis'. Thank you for being 'picky' - can you please tell me where you obtained your information which appears to indicate that my sources are incorrect. DLG817

RE: Operators based in North East Wales
Arh right i didn't see about the seating fair enough makes sense then Bus Lists on the Web indicates many Darts as Dennis still between 2001 and 2004 its also the same for Tridents and so does the DVLA but Dennis technically did not even exist in 2002, check the body/chassis plates if you dont believe me, because the 51 plate MPDs at Wrexham carry "Transbus International" body/Chassis plates so i think a bus made after them will. BLOTW is never %100 correct about anything anyway, many searches prove that and many people will agree on that. Although there are few Darts in the 2001 era and the Transbus International era that were still Dennis up until 51 which is why many 51 plated Darts are a mix of Dennis and Transbus but should officially be referred to as Transbus but 02 onward are Transbus. Thank you to for such a nicely worded sarcastic response. |
