Merseytravel Timetable Changes
RE: Merseytravel Timetable Changes
It seems that there will be less than 2 weeks' notice for many of the new timetables due to come into effect on the 27th of this month.
This makes me sad on behalf of most people out there who don't check the Merseytravel website obsessively and don't know that their journeys may soon have to alter.

I agree if as somebody said earlier in this section they have access to timetables for the service changes on the internet , no use the internet if the powers that be have not uploaded them even this close to the change , do wonder what the excuse is this time .

RE: Merseytravel Timetable Changes
Most of the changes for the 27th of this month are now available on the Merseytravel website (some employees must work weekends and nights!)

The changes to 6/7(A) are very interesting, and it looks like the two sets of services will no longer interwork.

RE: Merseytravel Timetable Changes
Why so many changes to frequency during the course of the day , i thought in the summer holidays the amount of people travelling moved from peak hours to daytime travel.

RE: Merseytravel Timetable Changes
Its more to do with the kids being off, they consider that they need less buses so the frequency gets cut. They do it every year so we can only assume that what they are doing is right, although I would have thought that some services would be busier rather than quieter. Figures must show different.

RE: Merseytravel Timetable Changes
Quieter in the morning but busier during the rest of the day in my experience.

I would agree with that, quieter around 4.30 - 5.30 going home from work for me as well.

Not sure with being a part-timer, coming back mid afternoon is usually busier than normal when the kids are off.
