It might just be that the 79C destination only has PSBS on it and they can't set the number independently of the destination?

Makes no odds really anyway, I doubt that'd confuse that many people as anyone going on that at 5am probably has a good idea where they are going anyway!

Interesting too it is still noted as going to Paradise Street, the destination screens on the bues on this always show Paradise Street Bus Station too, they've never been updated to read Liverpool One Bus Station!

It has been dropped I think mate. It went out to public consultation, and personally I cant really see that anyone would have much of an objection to it being withdrawn, or more to the point not enough benefited from the service enough to mean it was kept on.

In all honest I'm not surprised!

The bit between Netherley and Liverpool always ended up with a commercial 79 either right in front or right behind it!

I get the first 78 of a sat morning from halewood and we always caught up with the ace 79C journey down wavertree rd and ended up following it the rest of the way into town as well.
