135 doesn't go to Radcliffe. Closest place would be Whitefield or Bury.

The 98 runs from Radcliffe to Shudehill Interchange with journey times of around 45 mins. Or you can change at Whitefield from the 98 to the 135 to head to Piccadilly Gardens.

What model of bus is used on the 98?

B7RLEs are quite common on the route, may get the occasional Citaro on the route too.

I will keep my eyes peeled for any First buses on Finglands buses.

I always thought The Bolton depot operated route 510?

Also aren't the training buses getting a bit old? They could have been replaced by some of the older Darts.

Used to be Bolton when they used darts on it but its Bury now with a few Bolton services after 7pm. I remember seeing a Dennis Arrow on it when it was a Bolton route and wanted to get it but I had to be somewhere else.

I think the 524 could possibly at one stage have been a Bolton route since most Bolton routes are 500's and Bury are in the late 400's.

If I remember rightly when I lived in Little Lever in the 1970's, the 524 service was originally numbered 52 and operated jointly by Bolton & Bury Transport Departments.

There was only one, and that was on loan from Bury

That's run by Bury, as far as I can think of all routes north of Manchester are numbered under 200 with it being in the city centre.

135 to heywood ??

135 is because it originates in manchester which is a lot of 100s

0-100 west of city
100 city
200 east of city
300 tameside/stockport
400 rochdale oldham n bury
500 bolton
600 wigan
700 specials
800/900 schools / works
