I had it this morning on the 08:05 sandbach-northiwch, must say decent bus & fairly rapid too assuming its an ex wales one like 4078? I would agree, 4074 was certainly decent. |

RE: Arriva North West - Winsford Depot
702 and 707 both worked the 38 Today!! I've made SOME observations of some duty's with the New Timetable... The 29 has it's own allocations, And does not interwork with any other services, It's allocations today were: 4074, 4143, 2499 and 2619... The 37's that terminate at Winsford terminate at the Library Stop, And don't go via Dingle Lane, The Drumber and Dene Drive....I'm unsure if they interwork with the 31A's that start from Winsford but It would make sense or else the 37 would have a 35 minute wait at Winsford! |

Since the timetable change what services from Winsford will get allocated deckers regularly now and will the services via Leighton Hospital still get the odd decker allocated now |

The 31's Interwork with the 37A's at Northwich and the 31A's interwork with the 37 at Winsford. So both the 31/31A and the 37/37A all have a mixed bunch of allocations Saturday's is different as most of the deckers go onto the 84's |

Well so far after arriving sandwich approx 08:00 to catch the 08:05 37 to Northwich found it had left 15 mins earlier!!! Then ended up going winsford & changing to the 31 so was half hr late into Northwich. My only other option would involve getting the 06:10 off macc which is a ballache. So far this whole setup is really confusing & v frustrating for passengers, 3 drivers i've spoken to today agree that all arriva have done is screwed things up once again. I know its supposedly meant to improve reliability but alls they've got emselves so far is a lotta agro off frustrated passengers. |

To be honest, every set of changes gets people annoyed for the first couple of weeks or so. We'll have to wait and see how these work in the long run, when hopefully things like running 15 minutes early won't happen (?!) |

RE: Arriva North West - Winsford Depot
It's timed to leave at 07:50 now yes! There isn't the "C" Symbol on the journey either which means it doesn't connect with the 38...Always check before travelling |

Aye well unfortunately like arrival always seem to do they've overlooked the fact that there's always people who need the connection between 37/38 so let's hope they work sumat out. Have to say though it makes helluva lot more sense the 29 running northwich - winsford on sat much more reliable. On a plus note it seems the sitters have improved the reliability of 4143 its been a while now since it failed. |

RE: Arriva North West - Winsford Depot
Well this morning 4491 was replaced by optare 701. This seems quite a regular thing now, pods fault with 4491 or do they run optares during quieter periods after rush hour? Also driver mentioned that 701 had been off the road a fortnight any ideas why? |
