They've always had problems with em since they arrived tbh. In my opinion 4042/4141/4099 have been the most reliable of the bunch although i'll bet if you ask the fitters they'll more than like be throwing a party when the dlas leave as they've been a constant headache it appears.

Be nice to have the DLWs, i've found a couple of photos of em on flickr & they look really quite smart for something ex london & hopefully even better once they've been re-painted in arriva livery/internal refresh carried out.

Doesn't necessarily mean that the DLW's will be any more reliable, all that's happening is that old buses are getting replaced by a newer but still old buses that have like the DLA's spent their time trudging around London.

3615/4078/4489 are out on the 84 long...2609/4156 on short...

4078 on Longs? Not for long it wasen't! Worked the slightly delayed 16:00 31 to Northwich!

It appears Northwich Locals are no longer MPD's! 2516, 2515, 2499 and 2608 putting turns in! 2516 later swapped onto the 17:30 37 to Crewe.

We saw 4078 go onto the 31 after we arrived in on 2609... We had a speedy run on 4078 from Tarporley to Nantwich earlier....Finally caught up with 3615 too :-)

Aye for a dla 4078 ain't bad, just ruddy freezing.of your upstairs tho as the heaters don't work.4042/4099 are both decent as well tbh.

I saw you then :P I came in on 2498 on the 37! Did you notice funny noises coming out of 4078? I did on the 31!
