From SLTs web site South Lancs Travel takes over some former Maytree Travel routes Due to Maytree Travel ceasing trading on 4th April, South Lancs Travel will operate some evening, Sunday and Bank Holiday journeys on services 516, 551, 583, 584, 597, 612 and 622. See our 'Timetables' page for more information. The new services will commence from Friday 5th April. |

Interestingly, South Lancs have only got the Evening & Sunday 597, so wonder whose got the daytime service. |

Was told today that SLT are withdrawing the 132/300 on saturdays due to not carrying much. Was also told that they are accuiring some more solos,unsure if they are new or second hand. |

on VOSA today SLT have lost the 516,551,584,612 and 622 tender from july 7th, shame about the 551 as i thought they ran the route very well EDIT: i decided to e.mail GMPTE about this as i feel SLT should of been given the 551 contract with how well they ran the service For Blog Posts Containing all the latest in the local Bus Scene The 2002 Bus Blog Subscribe to my Youtube Channel, Updated regularly! SLT have aquired 3 optare solos on 57 reg plates from somewhere in reading, there all plain white and will have SLT transfers applied then put out in service. |
