Whats wrong with Bury - The Mercedes are great for there age - they've done almost 15 years of service & im sorry, but "where it says stopping are covered in advertisements" Is one of the most stupid things to moan about that ive heard!,how about instead of adverts they chuck the prices up to cover income lost?.Enviro 400s Look Cleaner? - is that why when i was in Huddersfield i saw a filthy Enviro 400 With a peice of its Rear bumper snapped off,a bus type doesn't make it look cleaner, that's the bus washes job!The Old double deckers are Vandalized - im guessing B9TLs or Enviro 400s are vandalized as well? - vandals dont normally pick & choose a bus to vandalize by age & its hardly the bus company's fault that its routes are used by little vandals is it?from what i can see a lot of bury network is quite high frequency served by a lot of modern buses - something a lot of areas up & down the country would love to have so stop moaning & nit picking, dont like it then buy a car!

Am sorry VauxhallAstra VXR, but I agree with Wright Eclipse. My inlaws live in Heywood, and the buses which First operates on the Heywood area routes, are some of the cleanest and well maintained buses in the country.

Not to sure how true this is so correct me if I'm wrong but I've heard today that later this year more new buses could be on their way to both Queens Road and Oldham Depot, apparently Queens Road are due a batch of Streetlites to replace the B6's (not sure what route/s for though) and Oldham could be getting a batch of Enviro 200s to replace aging Dennis Darts on 415 route, info was received this afternoon by 2 drivers who had apparently been speaking to engineering staff at Oldham Depot

well i use bury buses around once every 2 weeks or so & think there one of the best depots for first bus ive used,i use oldham depot routes more often & find bury seem to be better at maintenance & time keeping.Like i said, the Mercedes Citaro`s are knocking 15 years old without a referb so there bound to be showing there age,nip over to Huddersfield (one of my more local areas) & the ALX400 Interiors are something to moan about,i got on one this morning & it was a nice -2 INSIDE the bus!,its very rare to see one with all its interior lights working & the Un-repainted ones have paint falling off on the outside. As for the Olympians well they've served good service during there time so there expected to be getting abit knackered, plus with them being ex-London,London life would of taken a lot of the Olympians as well.Volvo B9TLs are some of my favorite buses around,Enviro 400s are ok but i`d take a Volvo any day of the week

Sounds interesting, also theres the Enviro 400 With oldham stickers & im guessing more of them to come, maybe they could double deck the 81/81A & use the eclipses to start replacing Citaros
