Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire
RE: Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire
I had a collection in Morecambe this morning, when I saw what look like a motorhome with Stagecoach fleetnames on it!

Best place for them, not worked as hard on City than they are on Country so they break down a lot less Laugh

No chance of any big investment happening on 685 from either operator, 685 isn't really a profitable route so there's nothing there to justify the investment. Hardly surprising really when the train is an hour quicker (but more expensive) and the train also serves Metrocentre. I can personally only see a change when it is forced by DDA or some suitable vehicles can be transferred in from elsewhere.

24121 was on 685 Newcastle again today along with 52627. I saw 52626 being driven along Kingstown Road out of service by an engineer and I do not know where the third coach 52629 was.
Reserve B10M 20960 was on City service 61 to Harraby at lunchtime.
S-reg MANs 22134/137/139/143 are now regulars on the City services, but 22149 is never around when I am in Carlisle!

I've seen a horsebox in full Stagecoach livery - maybe it was that you saw?

Coaches suffering from poor reliability, it's getting quite unusual to see them last a full day on 685.
22149 has been long term VOR.

109 Chorley - Preston
113 Preston - Bolton
125 Bolton - Preston
3A, 327 (think they're tack on services to the town network for LCC)
TfGM schools - sorry no more detail than that, someone else will know more tho.
