[Archive] Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot
RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot
The Fleet List has been updated, this depot only has 20 buses remaining in the 'old livery' Cadets 2435-9 / 2447-9 & Pulsar 2's 3000-11. The oldest bus in the depot is DAF 4038 and the newest for now is Pulsar 2 3135.

To think, this time next year LS may only have 3 types of buses, Gemini 2's, Cadets and Pulsars

Don't forget, Enviro 400s 4400 and 4401 will be staying at LS so that will be 4 types. :-)

Over time this will probably be the case with all depots as Arriva will try and standardise their fleet.

MPD 886 has just been towed in off the 174 by RNW, off the road again!

4050 is also off the road, damaged front.

Think one of the things that let the Presidents down is you really have to be below 5'7 to fit into the seats bar the wheel arch seats and some of the back however there not bad buses tbh. One Cadet that does impress me is 2475 ex-Selwyns Cadet not tattily and good engine however it does seem to be letting out too much smoke as of late, hopefully a problem doesn't develop from this

Been hating Urban 90's since 2001Dodgy

2456 has moved, over a different pit facing the other way.

886 was back moving under it's own power this evening.

Currently 3 training buses in the depot, 8201/8229 & 8205? The B10.
