More Scanias have returned home to Bolton in the shape of wrecks 60184/5. 60184 was on the 507 whilst 60185 was over the pits. These are in desparte need of a repaint!!!

A number of Darts have been parked up in the top car park, these are in addition to the Ashton ones that turned up the other week so I'm presuming they are some of Bolton's.

33657/700 are two more 36/37 route branded Enviros.

60184 is a decent bus, LOL 60185 obviously having the standard mot before service

Decent? Maybe underneath but I don't think they've both had a repaint in donkey's years!
I think 60214 is another move home, was on a school run in Bolton this morning although BY do a couple of schoolies for BN.

60212, 60213, 60214, 60217, 61140, 60183,60184,60185

Leaving at Bury for BN soon

60222
61137
61141
60218

Most unpopular scania at Bury was 60212 according to a driver friend good bus but slow,

One thing Jason Bury scanias run rings round former Rock Ferry ones

And the best scania of them all is 60218, anyday.

Scania's from Bury started life at BN, and now they will see out there days here, what goes around comes around, they are back.

Although for BY im glad theyve got a beliting deal

Same goes for the Citaro's, they went away and now they're coming home. It seems odd that now Oldham has 10+ Citaro's maybe, why haven't they been out once yet? The Darts from Pioneer were thrown out, which makes me think something might be going on behind closed doors in there... Refurb and repaint I thinks :O We'll see however.

Thanks,
Liam Moskwin.

I agree with you Liam, there are odd things about these allocation changes, very much so with OM movements To Bury.

Bury are getting 32 B9s

Loosing 20 odd citaros

and of course the scania's

Only ones seen so far and confirmed transfered are 60228 and 60234, to follow 60229/30/33/70/71 but some of these are still in Bury. I'ts hard really, even though I am in Bury each day, its hard to tell whats gone. Refurb and repaint seems likely as well as the standard MOT before service..

Love your flicker pictures

I've heard from 2 drivers now (one being an enthusiast at Oldham depot) we're getting the whole batch back of Citaro's, but I don't see it personally. They might be right. It just seems very odd though, everything seems quiet. In fact too quiet.

Thanks,
Liam Moskwin.

Myself I don't see it, this all started because Bury Depot's operating budget was being eaten up fixing these buses, along with of course the new Enviro's coming into the fleet.

Id swap a batch of citaro's for B9s anyday, and whatever happens its a good deal for Bury, as with it not being in the Bolton or Oldham League. B9s Coming in is like giving the whole fleet a refresh.

Hi James, It is back to the rubbish today - 31943

37454 doing the 816 this morning (passing The Farmers, Cheadle Heath at 0845)

Dart 40406 was operating the 816 today, passing the Farmers Arms, Cheadle Heath at 0745. How come a regular H49/30F can suddenly change to a B37F? I thought that part of the Contract would stipulate a minimum seat number for school routes.

tfgm contract spec for this service is 85 capacity which should bea decker but if there isnt demand for it the depot wont send it (85 is 72 seated with 13 standing)

A bit odd to use a midi bus on a school service, aslo saw dart 40382 doing the 836 Longdendale School service lastweek.
