One of the unsuccessful bidders could have appealed against the decision(s) so perhaps that could delay any announcement.....but with September start date, presumably it all needs to be confirmed very soon. Out of interest, had a look at the timing for the Bee Network Tranche 3 announcement, which was announced at 1500 on 24/3/24, for a 5/1/25 start date, giving about 9 months....

Assumed this will be down to some legal procedure, or an unsuccessful bidder making a challenge to the decision, given that the operators are said to have been informed on 19/12.......

Yeah, the tricky one with that, you had the Festive period being from 19th December until 5th January, with most local authority offices being closed & staff off, that they wouldn't have been able to process any appeals during that period, so 5th January to 16th January is effectively that 10 day period.
