Just to let you all know, a week Sunday, 2 September, Heaton Park, Manchester. Would any Merseyside vehicles be attending? I shall be there, looking forward to my first visit to it!

One of the good things about this event is that Heaton Park also plays host to it's own Heritage Tramway, so if you're interests extend to matters further than Buses, there are some great heritage tramcars also trundling through the Park. The only problem with this event is that you need dry weather as there are very few places to shelter in the area.

Yes, going to have a good look at the tramway as well as a trip down to the museum for an hour or 2!

NWVRT will be in attendance with vehicles, although I'm not sure what will be there. I would imagine some sort of Merseyside presence should be there though.

I'm no longer heavily involved with GMTS so I don't know what vehicles are booked to attend, whereas normally I would know which operators are planning to attend as for the past few years I've been involved with liaising with operators.

I know the 201 Bus Group is taking 1070, the NWVRT will be taking a selection of vehicles too, but that's as far as I know.

Was there myself - good day but a bit of a shame about the light showers though. I have reported Heaton Park's Tramway movements in that thread.
