RE: HTL Buses
There has been an extension for at least a year on the age, hence why the 06 plate Darts are still in service so they will probably get at least 18 months out of it.

Oh Superman where are you now, when everything's gone wrong somehow, the men of steel, the men of power, are losing control by the hour.

That explains it was told that the Darts could stay in service so I’m guessing it’s like that for all tenders

RE: HTL Buses
Probably just a stop gap until more appropriate vehicles can be acquired/used.

Getting quite desperate with the Transporter regularly filling in now. Tonight it was on the 17/30 tenders

Edit: Sorry, I realise I’ve just basically replicated the above. Newer messages not showing straight away for me

It’s been for sale on EBay for quite a while. Doesn’t look good when a company is buying elderly buses off eBay which are listed as ‘ideal for camper conversion’. Kind of suggests it’s at the end of its service life.

RE: HTL Buses
It's a stop gap bus with an unavailability of other buses, if they get 18 months out of it is still cheaper than hiring a bus and will allow them to use actual buses on service rather than the Merseylinks. It was in use by the operator right up until this morning and drove all the way back to Merseyside with out fault.

RE: HTL Buses
Any idea what is going on with 108 (YJ12 PMU) please? Hasn't seen service for nearly two months.

Optare Solo L15PPN has entered service, Solo SR YJ12PLZ is now withdrawn and at least Enviro 200 DK08AYU and Dart SLF SN06BMU have departed for scrap.
