4104 is also being prepared for a return to the road after over 2 and a half years off the road. It's currently at Runcorn.
As mentioned previously, all Centros will be moving into Merseyside, likely destination is Bootle. 2612 and 2615 have already left, with 2611 to follow shortly. Likely replacements at Winsford are older Cadets.

Finally Irizar Electric demonstrator YN67 VDK has been here for the past few weeks, however hasn't seen any service.

Good, thank god the centros are offski. All drivers I've spoken to hate them, they rattle constantly. I've asked about 6 drivers so far which they prefer & all of them said they prefer the older cadets!!!!

Brilliant news too about 4104, I love the volvo B7 deckers with their ALX400 bodywork. Really nice buses.

I wonder whether more Volvo B7TL - ALX400s are coming here? I hope they end up reinstated to regular Saturday duties somewhere.

There aren't many minibuses out today in Macc. I'm noticing that a fair few which are tracking as Mellors are infact SoloSRs.

4491 was also on the 38 today, not sure if that's the one that's seldom been on the road or not

Has anyone seen 4490 recently? Not seen it for a good while.

Nope ain't seen it in weeks, think it might've buggered off for a bit for bodywork repairs & possible repaint into the new arriva livery.

4489/4491 are both still on the road though. Personally a few of the drivers have told me they'd rather we lost the gemini deckers as they've not been the most reliable.

In the papers yesterday is a Councillor complaining about poor service from Arriva Winsford, Although there is so,e rubbish like a large number of Buses being over 19 years old. Says he has taken up the matter with the TC so see if anything happens there.

Newsquest changed their publication dates to Thursday due to Tuesday being a popular day for council meetings, meaning they were publishing details 8 days after they were discussed by publishing on Wednesday.

'Over 19' maybe someone mistyping 'over 15'. Although, if he's talking about non-Sapphire routes normally operated by deckers then it may not be that inaccurate considering Arriva have 6 deckers at Winsford which were registered in 2001 or 2002.

I would say that he might be referring to the Vlw and Dlps knocking about.
