2495 is now withdrawn after having a pre-MOT check and found to have a corroded front axle. The remaining 54 plate Cadets will be withdrawn in the next 6 or 7 weeks or so from service in Merseyside. Any servicable ones could in theory appear elsewhere.

Luckily for me I’ve been on them all apart from 2481,2485 & one of the Welsh ordered ones in the Midlands.

Three Cadets are currently sat in Wrexham's compound, receiving work/touch up then they're heading into the pool fleet.

The 54 plates are supposed to be getting withdrawn, but I think most of the cadets are going to be around for some time with there being no sign of any new buses on the horizon.
