However, I suspect this isn't actually its correct registration, as DVLA lists RJ19 XHD as a Ford (probably a Transit van, by the look of it). RJ19 HXD, on the other hand, is a Mercedes of the correct type, weight, engine, and colour, so that's my guess as to what it's probably meant to be. |

RE: Arriva Click Coming To Merseyside
With the Sittingbourne Click ending shortly, would Merseyside make use of the vehicles to expand the area? |

The Sittingbourne vehicles are different spec, they are not low floor, don’t have assault screens, are leased and in the old livery. They also don’t have any destination screens. Potentially move one for a training bus? Also whilst numbers are increasing there are no plans just yet to extend the Zone. The operation in Kent have only 5 buses which would not mean much of an expansion of the zone. |

Destination screens do show the bus number but nothing a bit of paper in the window couldn't solve. I know they aren't low floor, all you do then is ask for people to specify wheelchair accessible vehicle upon booking. The 5 buses (plus 2 EVM low floor models) wouldn't make a huge improvement to the zone but it must be able to help increase it a small bit. Surely you could get Hale, Belle Vale and Childwall in with 5 (or 7) minibuses. |
