10 year old ex Stagecoach Western Scottish Optare Versas are replacing Optare Solos on Carlisle service 62 from today. The vehicles are 25218-25221,25226/7. 25227 has yet to arrive but is expected tomorrow.
25218/21 entered service on the 62 this morning.

Carlisle Optare Solo 47949 has gone on loan to VOSA in Northampton prior to being moved elsewhere in the group.

Optare Solos 47950-3 have been taken out of service at Carlisle, being replaced on the 62 service by Optare Versas 25218-21.

Probably too small a capacity for the route. They'll doubtless surface somewhere else in the Stagecoach empire.

Yes, they are.
More seating is needed on the 62 service.
SC&NL tried to get 6 ex Stagecoach Western 361xx (10 plate) from Kilmarnock that were being replaced by new E20Ds, but were not successful. They were used by Western Buses internally to replace the 08/09 plate Optare Versas which then came to Carlisle.
