It hasn't been on N+Ps yet but if you search on the VOSA bus search thing, it pops up on there. |

RE: Fairbrother's of Warrington
Looking again, the original 16H starts on 15th January 2018, but there will be a variation on 24th January. |

RE: Fairbrother's of Warrington
The service starts on 15th Jan but then Network Warrington threw in a variation not long after for around the same date. It would then have been too late for Fairbrothers to go back against it in time for service start so it would have gone to the next available date. I can only assume that Fairbrothers 24th Jan variation is just a combat against the Network Warrington variation which was thrown in just after the 16H registration. |

Still no idea what the timetables will be like for the new services. Has anything been said or made available to the current 16X passengers? |

RE: Fairbrother's of Warrington
Interesting how nothing is on Traveline or Bustimes.org Both these places take info from the National Bus & Coach Database. When a service is registered, the council must transfer all that data over and then upload it to the database on a Tuesday (It is for Cwacc, maybe different days for different councils). Even future services and future timetable changes are shown. It appears Warrington Council are not uploading stuff properly of Fairbrothers or it would be shown online. Same with the likes of the 1C being shown as Saturday only and the 16X showing the wrong times and finally the 21X change hasn't been uploaded. If it isn't on the database, no one will know about the service really as it will not show up anywhere. Any timetable website including google maps journey planning comes from that database. If it was on the database and was uploaded properly, you would have had all the details from around 2 weeks before service start. As I have said, only the councils or PTEs can upload the data to the database and only the councils/ptes where the service operates get the registration forms meaning Warrington Council can't be doing their job properly. |

I think you are right about that - the data for other bus companies in Warrington are wrong as well, not showing future changes. |

Timetable data must be uploaded by the relevant Traveline Co-ordinator three weeks before the change takes place. A number of Traveline regions, such as SWPTI and SEMA (SE, Mids & Anglia) use the Mentz "Diva" system - a weekly data upload takes place at 5pm on a Tuesday, and usually appears about 48-72 hours later. So to meet the three week deadline, the timetable needs to be uploaded nearer four weeks in advance. If the deadline is missed, the DfT then starts to demand to know why... especially if it isn't on with the following week's upload. Obviously, short notice changes are exempt from these deadlines. |
