Big big issues today for winsford, 4489 is in a right state again.

Had it today (3rd jan) on the 14:05 to crewe. Driver told me it keeps going into limp mode so restricting speed. Also there's quite a loud & very scary knocking noise that sounds to be coming from the right front wheel. Really is it normal to have these sorts of issues from a bus that's only 7 years old?

I honestly don't know how the fitters & depot manager have let it into service in this condition. The knocking noise sounds dangerous. Macclesfield have currently got on loan:

2612 - Working the 38
2613 - Also working 38s

Timekeeping is almost down the tubes at macc due to the roadworks at park green still going on for over a month now.

May be old news but 4410 has now lost branding for the 1, but still has Sapphire branding.

Thought 4402-4412 had their route branding removed with some being repainted. Those that remain in sapphire livery (English and Welsh) operate sapphire routes if and when required.

4411 and 4412 were never upgraded to Sapphire. I assume you mean 4421 and 4422?

Isn't 4412 the Blaze Bus now based in Bootle after a bit of nomadic 12 months in Green Lane and Southport?
