Anyone have any idea how long 2705,2723 & 2726 at Runcorn and 2728 at Chester have left in service before they are withdrawn surely its not that long now as only 2720 & 2730 are in service in St Helens.

2726 was towed in Friday and hasn't been touched. With the new gas buses enetering service it may not be used again. I didn't see 2705 today though 2723 was on the 110.

I have heard the same. But even if they do enter service in September as another poster said they will be retaining their current registration numbers

Chester allocated 2728 was seen about 12.20 this afternoon passing through Saltney on service 12 heading for Chester.
