Allan Williams , The Beatles First manager and the original owner of the Jacaranda Club has died at the age of 86.

Hopefully that is the end of the deaths for 2016.

The Queen has now lost a Cousin and a Brother in law in the spate of a couple of months , on top of The Queen not feeling too well over Christmas and New Year.

Mary Tyler Moore American actress and comedienne has died aged 80.

Tam Dalyell has died at the age of 84 after a short illness.

He sat in the House of Commons from 1962 to 2005, representing West Lothian and Linlithgow for Labour.

Mr Dalyell became known for his formulation of the "West Lothian Question" about the role of Scottish MPs after the establishment of the Scottish parliament.

Peter Skellern died yesterday, aged 69. He had hits with You're a Lady and Hold On to Love, and an excellent albeit unsuccessful follow-up Hard Times.
