Another day - another diesel deputising for a 319 - there is a 142 on the 0803 Wigan - Liverpool - I predict a squeeze as the service is a pre-0900 arrival at Lime Street.

A 156 is on Liverpool - Wigan stoppers today - same diagram as the 142 was on yesterday. I presume there is a 319 shortage. Must be fairly chronic as it has been happening for a few days now.

The 06:16 LIV - MIA was also cancelled due to a train fault. I presume it didn't even make it off the depot

This diagram appears to be back to a 319 now.

But no train (not even a substitute DMU) available for one of the Airport-Liverpool diagrams currently and the 17:20 Lime Street-Victoria is also showing as cancelled due to a shortage of carriages. It sounds like Newton Heath is short of DMUs as well, a number of diesel services have been short formed.

Minus 2 x 319s today,so therefore as previously stated 0616 Lime St-Man Air and return cancelled,then this diagram reinstated with a 156 from 0916-1444 using a unit off a Man Ox Rd service so this then ran shortformed and then this 319 uncovered again from 1516 with the 1516 Lime St-Man Air and return cancelled.Also due to the 319 shortage a diesel on the Lime St-Wigan and returns every 2 hours from 0700 ex Lime St and 0803 ex Wigan

The Wigan diagram had gone back to a 319 by 1603 ex Wigan.

Yes it reverted back to a 319 from the 1300 Lime St-Wigan and 1403 Wigan-Lime st
