Yeah they probably will but was not expecting to see a TPX service use P7 , shows that one platform missing makes all the difference

Yesterday one of the Manchester Airport services went from Platform 8.

That was due to the previous departure from that platform stuffing things up.It is the 1417 departure you are referring to that went off platform 8.

That was just on the 28+29th December only and won't become the norm and was only possible due to the Virgin arrival being retimed to arrive after the TPE departure left

Will have to be platform 7 or 9 as they are the only platforms now long enough to accommodate it
