RE: Manchester Community Transport - motormayhem - 08/04/2013 20:57 But under maytree they only owned 4 buses which isnt really value for money so i cant see mct actually paying for maytree when they found out they couldnt get insurance which in turn means they wouldnt own any assets and if they did buy it then surely mct could of took some routes under the mct license and if they did buy it then the ex owner of maytree would be laughing all the way to the bank when looking at what his sold them for that price. RE: Manchester Community Transport - jimbo - 08/04/2013 20:58 Yeah, i dunno what actually happened, im speculating that they own maytree... Stkll yet to get a statement from mct on the matter RE: Manchester Community Transport - Mayneway - 08/04/2013 23:36 (08/04/2013 20:58)jimbo Wrote: Yeah, i dunno what actually happened, im speculating that they own maytree... Stkll yet to get a statement from mct on the matter There wont be a statement from MCT, why should there be?? MCT bought a controlling share in Maytree but it was run as a seperate company to MCT. Presumably they knew about the problems and thought they could sort them out, when if became clear they couldn't, they put the company into administration. Any assets such as owned vehicles and the depot will be deposed of by the adminstrator's to pay off any outstanding bills and wages ect. RE: Manchester Community Transport - Mayneway - 09/04/2013 17:37 Noticed one of the Streetlites on the 395 this morning, looked very smart although the lack of branding/fleetnames really let's them down. RE: Manchester Community Transport - YSV-205 - 20/04/2013 17:11 Does anyone have an up-to-date fleet list for Manchester Community Transport that they can put on the forum. Their fleet seems to be getting bigger by the day. Granted mostly with all white liveries & seeming to be Enviro200's.
