Just heard that it's Rhyl's S278 JUA (4098) - a great, fast bus and a personal favourite of mine! Angel

3332 is still in service as it was on 699s today. Also there was a Gemini on the 76.

Perhaps S278 JUA (4098) was a mistake and it was S287 JUA (4157) that my source meant... (Numerically, not much of a difference; bus-wise, two completely different buses in terms of quality [4157 being the worse one, of course]...)

Surely more than one is to be expected - there is still no long-term replacement for 4118, not to mention the already withdrawn 3332.

4157 has a tired interior but still rides very well. Certainly not a bad bus.

Also, had a ride of 4110 the other day with its John Moores Uni advert. It's an odd configuration with the off-side mostly just plain purple. The rear is green, while the on-side features much more of the detail you would expect in one of these adverts. It isn't as appealing as the Hope Uni ad, but not too bad. You also have to feel 4110 was a strange choice as it has only quite recently been repainted. Why wasn't 4114 chosen? This is the tattiest of the unrefurbished B7s externally and has already worn two all-over adverts in the past.

If Speke are going to get more DLA's i can see 4114,15 and 19 will get the P+P treatment.

on another note about 4114 when the bell goes off a buzzing noise goes off until the doors open has any one else noticed this?
